On Saturday 21 March 2026, venues across the borough will take part in A Good Life Day – a day of free creative events celebrating culture, community and local heritage.

Led by the Community Event Network, a partnership of cultural and community venues across Havering, the programme brings together workshops, performances, exhibitions and activities for all ages, supported by Havering London.

Across the day you can explore galleries, join creative workshops, experience live music and poetry, discover local history, and take part in hands-on activities. From storytelling and heritage walks to wellbeing events and craft sessions, the programme offers plenty of ways to try something new or spend time with others.

Highlights include a lively Ukraini-Ceilidh, bringing together British folk and Ukrainian traditional music and dance, creative family workshops, exhibitions and live painting, gallery tours, heritage walks and the Poetic Place Finale Celebration, marking the culmination of Havering London’s borough-wide poetry project.

Whether you want to make something, learn something, meet new people or simply enjoy the atmosphere, A Good Life Day is an opportunity to explore Havering’s creative spaces and community venues.

Events will take place throughout the day across the borough from 10am through to 9pm. For full event details and timings, visit www.haveringlondon.com
