Join us for a three-hour immersive event bridging mindfulness, artistic expression, and culinary heritage. Designed to foster intergenerational connections, this unique project seamlessly blends a collaborative art installation with a traditional Indian dining experience.
Event Schedule:
- 3:30 PM – Mindful Art Workshop: Guided by a professional artist, participants will enter a meditative state through ambient soundscapes and lighting. Together, the group will design a large-scale textile tablecloth featuring motifs inspired by local culture. This collaborative piece will remain permanently displayed in the building.
- 5:00 PM – Culinary Education: A professional chef will present a live cooking demonstration celebrating traditional Indian cuisine. You will discover the rich history and cultural significance behind beloved dishes like Onion Bhajis, Bowa, and Naan bread.
- 5:30 PM – Communal Dining: The evening concludes with a memorable “living art” experience. The community will gather to share the freshly prepared meal, served directly upon the beautiful textile artwork they have just created.
Attendees will embark on a meaningful journey from personal relaxation to collective creation. Expect to gain practical artistic skills, deepen your appreciation for cultural food history, and enjoy the deep satisfaction of a shared meal celebrating vibrant community spirit and collaborative effort.
