Pixels and Pioneers

From tea & cake school reunions and Eastside Heritage workshops, to pop-up portraits by artist Hannah Davis and interviews in the wood panelled former library, we have been able to gather unforgettable memories: cheeky Y11 escapades, lifelong friendships, and deeply personal reflections like Ms Naqavi sharing her experience as one of only four Pakistani students during her time at FBA.

Visit The Appleby Gallery by appointment only to pick up an interactive telephone handset and listen to stories of empowerment, friendship, and history—including staff member, Ms Naqavi’s reflection on being one of just four Pakistani pupils in her year.
