Can You Help Tell the Story of Romford’s Raving?
Seeking contributors to help recognise Romford’s role in shaping London’s electronic music scene.
Mega Mega will be an immersive exhibition exploring Romford’s rave years (1989–1999). It will take place in Romford from October to December 2026.
We’re inviting contributions to help shape what visitors will see and hear, and to help record this history for the future.
What we’re looking for
- Memories (people to interview)
- Photographs
- Flyers and printed material
- Audio recordings (cassette tapes, radio recordings, mixes)
- Video recordings (including VHS)
- Ephemera and objects (tickets, wristbands, rave packs, clothing, equipment, etc.)
If you were part of the scene, on the dancefloor, behind the scenes, on pirate radio, in record shops, or helping make nights happen, we’d love to hear from you.
Register what you have
Complete the short form below to tell us what you’d like to share – with the option to upload the item or send us a link to it – and we’ll be in touch.
All submissions are carefully reviewed. While we may not be able to include everything in the exhibition or public archive, every contribution helps us build a fuller picture of the period.
We’ll always contact you before anything is displayed, archived, or formally accepted.
