Community Venue Network

We’re thrilled to launch the Community Venue Network (CVN); a borough-wide initiative to bring culture closer to every resident in Havering. Through the CVN, community venues and/or organisations will be supported to be vibrant cultural hubs, shaped by local voices and designed to welcome everyone. Join us.

We’re looking for venues and community organisations that:

• Are trusted anchors in their local area.
• Believe in the power of culture to strengthen communities.
• Want to collaborate, share resources, and grow together.
• Are committed to making culture accessible, inclusive, and representative.

Joining the CVN will give venues 

• Access to a £150,000 capital fund to improve facilities and technical capacity, for example sound equipment and seating. 
• Free training and workshops in programming and fundraising.
• Greater visibility through Havering London’s channels and case studies.
• Opportunities to collaborate with like-minded organisations across the borough.

This is a funded, free opportunity designed to support bold ideas, empower venues, and bring culture to life in your community. Join us for one of our online Applicant Forums where we’ll talk more about the Network and answer your questions :
