MEGA MEGA: Romford’s Suburban Sound Revolution is a new immersive exhibition exploring Romford’s electronic music and club culture between 1989–1999 — from rave and jungle to garage and drum & bass.
We’re seeking a practical, organised and experienced Exhibition Operations Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the exhibition during its eight-week public opening, Oct – Dec, working on exhibition days Thursday – Sunday.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys making things work: opening the venue, making sure the exhibition is ready for visitors, coordinating staff and volunteers, dealing with problems as they arise, and safely closing and securing the building at the end of the day.
We’re looking for someone reliable, organised and practical, who can take ownership of day-to-day operations, communicate confidently with staff and visitors, stay calm and proactive when things change, and work independently while following health and safety, safeguarding and emergency procedures.
💷 £544 gross per week (34 guaranteed hours p/week for eight-week public exhibition period. Includes public opening hours and 30 mins before/after opening each day)
