Havering Low Energy Visitor Centre
Located at the entrance of Raphael Park, the centre is an educational resource for all to see first-hand how energy-saving measures can transform a typical home, with examples of how you can save money on your heating and hot water use, prevent damp and mould and lower carbon emissions.
The purpose of the Low Energy Visitor Centre is to demonstrate a variety of retrofitting techniques for residents. Retrofitting refers to the process of making alterations to an existing property with the goal of improving its energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption.
