Join us for the finale of Poetic Place, Havering London’s project that celebrates and engages young people and marginalized communities in Havering with the power of poetry and spoken word. Expect performance, music and activities at this lively celebration.

The Appleby Gallery will be hosting an open day full of creativity, including artist live painting, an artist talk and a chance to make some art, inspired by our current exhibition, Wild and Unframed: Landscapes by Women Artists.

Havering Museum celebrates A Good Life Day with a host of free activities for all ages! Join us for free family crafts, singing with St Francis Hospice choir, gallery tours, live music from the Romford Ceilidh Band and performances with tea and cake with Libby’s Heritage Tearoom.

Join Thames Chase Art Club for a relaxed, drop-in art session celebrating local heritage, landscape and community stories at Thames Chase Community Forest.  Local artist Lucia Hardy will be leading the drop in session, where you can let your creativity take over in a beautiful setting. Drop in, get creative, and help celebrate our shared heritage through art.

Experience a unique three-hour event blending mindfulness, artistic expression, and Indian culinary heritage! This intergenerational gathering begins with a meditative workshop where participants collaboratively design a vibrant, large-scale textile. Next, a professional chef leads a live cooking demonstration exploring traditional Indian dishes. The evening culminates in a beautiful “living art” communal dinner, with the freshly prepared meal served directly on the community’s newly created masterpiece. Join us to create, learn, and connect.
